A collection of selected love poems

Poems about Love
Love Poems speak about the passion, desire and vulnerability of being in love. When you can share your life with another, your whole world is completely different.
Falling in love may be one of the greatest feelings ever. When you are with your lover there is no greater feeling in the world, and when you're not you spend all your time thinking of each other. Falling in love is truly an awesome feeling.
Romantic relationships are the spice of life. They make us feel alive in a way that nothing else can. Genuine romance exists when two individuals show that they care for each other by doing small acts for each other that demonstrate love and affection. It makes us feel loved and cared for when we know that our significant other is thinking about how to give us the most pleasure. Romance is the key to keeping the sparks flying. Without it, any relationship will soon lose its shine.

Poem Questioning If Loved Back, Loving You So Much
By Nora
The moment I think about you
I go to another world
A world where you love me too
And where I can never be hurt

The truth is I don’t know what to say
My mind goes completely ..........

The Lucky One Is Me
By Mariah
It's another ordinary kind of night
You're at my house and I start a fight.
Then I turn the radio on and it's your favorite song
I smile at you as we both sing along
You laugh at me when ..........

Lying In Your Arms, San Francisco Awaits
By Katie Holderman
So in depth, hold on with all of my might.
Waiting in the rain, a cold winter night.
Inhale, exhale. Calm as I am.
Hair blowing in the wind.
Somebody take my hand.
My eyes they ..........

Dem Barbaren

Ich liege in den Nächten
Auf deinem Angesicht.

Auf deines Leibes Steppe
Pflanze ich Zedern und Mandelbäume.

Ich wühle in deiner Brust unermüdlich
Nach den goldenen Freuden Pharaos.

Aber deine Lippen sind schwer,
Meine Wunder erlösen sie nicht.

Hebe doch deine Schneehimmel

A collection of selected love poems

I do not love you...

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way

that this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
